Anyway...tahun ni...wont be much activities...time to slow down and add in new member into our small family....heee....we welcome this year with the news that we are finally going to be a mom and dad...this week is the 20th week of gestation and the baby is due on 26 Julai 2010....last 2 weeks we went for check up and found out that we are going to have a baby boy.....wooohooo...he was kicking very actively inside that his 'bird' showed as clear as the day!...each time i look at the image on the monitor...tears of being a proud mom always seems to roll down quite freely heee...
One thing bothers me tho...i am not sure if other husbands find accompanying their wives in the gynea room...something to be avoided, feared or enjoyed...but my husband declined when i invited him to come along into the room to see our baby...anyway..last night i caught a bit of Phua Chu Kang's series that showed he was terrified when his wife requested him to join her for her check up...he fainted after looking at their baby on the monitor....it was funny then but afterwards it got me thinking...could it be that my husband is having the same cold feet as Chu Kang was getting....hahahaha....men!!...
Before the nausea and unpleasant feeling started to kick in...i managed to join my husband and the company's sportsclub went cycling expedition from Pantai Sepat, Kuantan to Taman Negeri Endau Rompin from 30/12/2009 to 1/1/2010....what a great way to spend the new year...hahaha...better than being stuck in the jam packed new year celebration locations or sit infront of the TV watching everyone around the world counting down the seconds to new year...i have not been up to transfering pic from my camera to here yet...if and when i finally get around doin it...i'll put in more pics from the expedition....so that's that on new year...
Later..1st Feb 2010....on Federal Territory Day...a public holiday for us...so we decided to go for a mini picnic at Sg Gabai...or 'Gaban' as we mistakenly said it...hahaha....it's a nice place to hang out if you don't have anywhere else to go....so...the 4 of us carrying food that can feed 10 person....went off to Sg Gabai....our driver...he was so confident that we didn't bother to ask if he knew how to get there....then...more or less half an hour later...the truth came out...he asked us...'kito dok mano doh nih?'...hadooiiish.....so much for his high confidence level when our journey started earlier...hmmph!!...then we spent another hour going around Kajang to find the correct exit...hahaha....well at least now we know where to turn the next time we plan to go for another dip in the waterfall...
We left Sg Gabai around 3pm....we managed to grab a couple of durian along the way...hahaha...then someone suggested we have our durian session at Pullman Lakeside....hehehe.... later...our group got bigger...we called in back up...hahaha...our frens from Cyberjaya who were unlucky enough to work that day...came to meet us at Pullman...and finish off the remaining food and durian....hahaha...i told you that the food we packed enough to feed 10 person heee....and glad that it all didn't go to waste....
And now...due to the cramps and pain around my belly that i seem to be having quite frequently...i am following my doc's advice to have plenty of rest..no more strenuous activities until the baby is safely delivered...problem is...i am not used to stay idle and not doing my usual activities...so now instead of being fully rested...i find myself going down the lane of depression....sign.....
