Welcome to the Underworld......

Yabedabedoooo......thanks to my hubby....I now can swim with and be among the sea creatures....took us (my hubby and I and another 2 new friends) 3 sun-burning days of hardwork to finally earned ourselves the licence to explore the underworld anywhere and anytime we will want....

Thanks to Cikgu Andy Lua (the one in red T) for being patience with us....thanks for the words of motivation which made our spirit soared rocket high...or should I say....ocean deep....hehehe.... Cikgu Andy said we were his best local students so far this year....althought we guess he might just be saying that to all of his students to keep our faces smiling and spirit high....anyhow....it worked cuz we were more determined to do better and learn faster....and looking forward to the end of the session....the treats of breathtakingly amazingly beautiful reefs await at the bottom of the lagoon around the island....

....the lesson involved serious reading...(the reading material is about an inch thick with 5 chapters to cover)......about the basics on diving...the equipments...the dos & don'ts.....things that can keep u alive while down there....most important...keep breathing....

4 hours of video session.....diving skills late nites...and finally...final exam...and miraculously...we survived...heee...then few quizes.....and a final exam.....passing marks...85% i think....couldn't remember....heee
...and when that's over and done with...underwater...here we come.....the part I love most....

......no fear all ye underwater creatures.....I come in peace.........

......my hubby......the best student among d 4 of us.....cewaaah......caya la.....at least I have a better diver to back me up...hehehehe

during the 3 days drill, we had the chance to dive at 5 different location...D'Lagoon, 3 Ruang, Batu Layar, Shark Point and...couldnt recall the last one....gotta check my dive log...heee...
Personally, I think it wasn't that difficult nor was it too easy to get a diving licence. If one can remain calm at all times especially underwater, abide the rules and enjoy being underwater....then it will not be much of a problem....and trust me...it was worth 100% of what you are paying for.....

How Geng Bas Sekolah Ran Over Kucing Hitam

I had my 1st shot at paintball sometime back in August '08. Knowing it being a risky game, excites me and my curiousity outgrew any rasional reasoning left in me...hehehehe....
And so....regardless of the warnings about the injuries that I might inflict upon myself, the 1st game was fun and ended well....therefore..I decided that I love this new game...... Then, it was sumtime in April '09 that we received an email informing about the PPTD Paintball tournament. I wasn't thinkin much about it at that time until about a couple of weeks before the game, I bumped into Kupez, a friend of mine, asking if I'm interested in joining. Dah jumpe kaki...ape lagi....we went searching for 3 other team members la....Few came and went, and finally we got our team together. Azi, one of our team members, came up with a catchy name for our team,'Geng Bas Sekolah'. Ok la tu....kami pun mcm budak sekolah baru blajaq nak main paintball...hehehe...

That weekend kami gi test skill kat Extreme Park Shah Alam.....and Jamal (baju putih, mencangkung tu..)pulak tertembak dan luka kat leher.....cian dia...terus dia cancel plan nak join tournament tu dan risau tahap cipan...sebab dia nak kawin bulan Mei ni....takut bapak mertua marah dia ada hicky kat leher....ahaks...

Introducing...the underdog.....Geng Bas Sekolah....terbayek lah!! Wooohooo....

...haaa...hari tournament tu....ape-ape pun...warm up dulu beb...bagi urat-urat tu longgar sikit...hee....
...yang baju purple tu salah sorang team Kucing Hitam...ehemmm....he happens to be otai dalam game ni k....

....yang baju hitam tu pun salah sorang otai team tu.....dan ada lagi 1 otai yang takde dalam gambo ni....

we didn't play to win...didn't even put any hope on winning anything...we came for fun....no elaborate plans in place....just shoot....and have fun.... ....and avoid getting shot at....

...and wallaaah!!!....WE ARE THE CHAMPION MY FRIEND (Freddy Mercury may just as well burst to tears in his grave listening to me singing his song for this victory hehehe)....weeeheee.....opppsss...the bus just ran over the black cat...sorry....can't help gloating out loud about it....that was a total surprise to me...to us...so I'm gonna gloat as much as I want and as long as I wish to....hehehehe

whey hey....look at us go.....good job everyone....we will do this again next year alright....

Oh! the lady, 2nd from left is Kupez pregnant wife, Elle...and our manager...this victory is for the baby too....hee....

we got to go home with a big hamper, RM150 cash and each got a trophy....

...and for me...few bruises on the body and one huge bruise on the thigh....from being shot at.....at close range (which was not supposed to....)but it was all worth it....hehehe....we won...it would have hurt more if we didn't....hik hik hik...

Formula 1-March 2009

March....the yearly Sepang F1....tahun ni dapat tiket di Ruby.......last year my grup was larger, this year, just me & my hubby.....and I'm not complaining...heeee
went on Sunday for the final race (and still have to pay for a 3-day parking fee k...)....and the 'weather controller' chose that day to douse the the track with super heavy rain....
my hubby bukan main seronok tengok the F1 drivers skidded....more action he said....well...to much action that the race had to be ended early.....oh darn....haru biru jadinya...

better luck next year guys.....hee....then off we went in the rain...towards the swampy carpark....

Monsoon Challenge

lepas Gn Chemerung....ada plak aktiviti ala Monsoon Challenge...nape monsoon?....sebab time tu sepatutnya musim hujan dan sepatutnya berbasikal dalam hujan...tapi kali ni...cuaca cerah dan kering kontang je... aktivitinye...berbasikal dari Kemaman ke Kenyir....lebih kurang 150km gak tu....
1st round dari Kemaman ke Kuala Berang....bertolak about 6.30am

my hubby & geng kayuh...ikut jalan kampung.....macam-macam nama tempat baru aku dapat tau.....best gak pagi-pagi tengok kampung-kampung.....

aku escort dan bagi moral support dari belakang....hehehe....kat stretch jalan sempit tu...macam raya cine jam nye aku buat hehehe...ye la aku kan escort....kene ikut pace pengayuh...30km/hr la....nasib la demo yg nak cepat hari tu....kih kih kih....

pastu bila lapo...singgah la kat warong tepi jalan...tersadai kat warong tu....ape-ape pun sedap masa tu...malam tu lepak kat chalet kat Kuala Berang tu.... perrhh!!...malam tu tido tak ingat dunia punye syiok....layan penat...yg escort pun penat tau...hehehe

The next day...aku plak kayuh yahooo....dari Kuala Berang ke Kenyir...hubby aku plak escort....hehehe...

ape-ape pun...mamam dulu....aku tak suke telur separuh masak...tapi sebab semua order telur separuh masak...so aku pun ikut sekali....taknak pikir...aku telan je.....breakfast bukan di sponsor dek pejabat UMNO ye...makan sendirian berhad kat kedai mamak sebelah tu...
di pertengahan jalan...tetiba plak paddle basikal aku jam...masuk pasir...dah kene berhenti tukar paddle lain...potong stim betol....cess...

about noon....konvoi sampai ke kawasan Kenyir...mula-mula tu aku steady gak...masih boleh handle lagi bukit-bukit tu....tetapi....mak aii....bila tinggal lagi satu bukit.....kene plak bukit tu sangat curam....aku pun dengan segala hormatnya turun basikal....dan mempersilakan hubby aku sambung kayuh dan aku.....hehehe.....drive le sampai ke Tasik Kenyir resort...tunggu geng-geng kayuh yg tersungut-sungut naik bukit tu....hehehehe...ngelat kak jangan tak ngelat.....gigil kaki bang....

Dah abis kayuh...next agenda...PI CAMPING.....well a different kinda camping....camping ateh boathouse....hehehe....so dari Kenyir Resort, (huhu...selamat tinggal keselesaan di chalet Kenyir Resort...) kami naik boat kecik ke....ape ntah nama lokasi yang mother boat tu buat port.... anyway....about half hour boat ride baru sampai ke boathouse tu.

naa......ni le dia boat house tu....by the way...geng ni ada 3...1 grup just nak kayuh je, 1 grup nak menacing je, 1 grup lagi nak buat dua-dua....so grup yg nak pancing tu dah kat boat dan dah siap pancing dah.....

aku bukan le minat giler pancing-pancing ni...tapi try gak la...kut-kut ade ikan yg berminat nak makan pancing aku kan....dah sejam aku tunggu..tapi takde tanda-tanda ikan rasa mata kail aku....pastu aku buhsan dan gi merayap cek out boathouse dan tgk ape ikan dah ade...

haa....tgk...besau ikan nih.....hehehehe....besau kan..kan..kan...tapi aku tak kenal spesis ape ikan yg aku pegang tu.....

di kononnye borak-borak kaki pancing la tu.....hehehe

ha...yg ni aku ingat...ikan belida sebab catch yg paling besar hari tu.....nasib baik dah di post-mortem ikan tu....kalu tak....hampeh le aku brani nak pegang cengitu....hee...

kemudian...ade ikan ni...pun aku tak tau ape spesisnye.....haruan ke?....ntah....ape-ape pun....chef on board buat masak lemak je ikan-ikan tu....hehehehe....

lepas penat belek-belek ikan...1 grup nak gi mandi jeram....aku pun nak ikut la...nasib baik hubby bagi aku ikut....hehehehe....syiok ooo...air dia sangat jernih dan sojuuuk......

malam tu aku pasang khemah atas boathouse utk tido....sejuk...sebab hujan lebat pulak.....

morning, the next day....kami saksikan kera besar pi rompak sarang burung hornbill atas satu pokok sikit punye tinggi kecoh kejap area tu.....eh..aku ingat hornbill ade kat kampung aku je rupe-rupenya ade yang dah migrate ke Kenyir jugak ek...hehehehe

about noon...we packed up and boat kecik datang bawak kami balik ke Kenyir Resort...masa untuk balik.....bukan kayuh tapi drive back.....giler ke nak kene kayuh another 150km balik....save it for later....so that's it for this adventure.....

woohooo...finally...my own blogspot...bole la crite pasal aktiviti aku.....
where shall i begin....hmm....think I'll start from this year la kut....
my outdoor activities picked up its pace in January 2009, since my hubby keje kat belah pantai timur....
memula...sport club dia organised aktiviti naik Gn. Chemerung....hehehe...oo...date on the pic is incorrect....belom betolkan date lagi masa amik gambo nih...

ni di kaki gunung tu.....
dalam perjalanan tu tetiba ada pulak satu pokok pelik yg berlubang-lubang dan...ape lagi...sume la pi melekat situ amik gambo....

mula mendaki on 13th Feb. 09 dan sepanjang pendakian banyak pemandangan sungai yang sangat cantik...perhh!! 1st class....kalu la taman rumah aku camtu....syiok oo...

kalu view ni letak kat belakang rumah aku memang best in de world la....

we spent the nite kat Camp Y....it was 14th February 2009 and we were up & away on a mountain.... kat Camp Y ...aktiviti sendiri/bebas...aku pilih tapak khemah yg betul-betul mengadap sungai....best....bukak pintu khemah je nampak sungai....air sungai pulak....sejuuk....dan banyak ikan....that nite for the 1st time in my life....aku kene gigit pacat....EEEEYUUUCK....nasib baik menatang tu dah jatuh baru aku perasan ada kesan gigitan dan berdarah...kalu tak...satu campsite tu le gamaknye...dengar aku meraung...I HATE PACAT....HATE THEM, HATE THEM, HATE THEM.....
early the next day, continue mendaki.....dan seperti mane-mane gunung...gunung ni pun ada taman bonsainye sendiri....cantik jugak....
ahkirnya....sampai peak at about 1pm.....ehem...ehem....kami bertiga sampai dulu....budak tengah tu baru darjah brape..(lupe daaa...) tapi tenaga dia tetap maintain beb....power tuu.......tak nampak view sekeliling pulak ateh tu sebab kene blok pokok-pokok....so lepak-lepak je la atas tu sambil posing-posing and makan ape-ape jajan yang ade....tak continue sampai Air Terjun Langsir pun....tak pasti kenape, tapi aku ok je....oiii...penat jugak nak sampai ateh tuu....lepas rehat for an hour or so....kami pun mula turun semula ke Camp Y,
ni geng-geng yang sampai atas.....
balik kat Camp Y...my hubby buatkan lunch sementara aku pack up... pastu mula perjalanan turun....hujan masa turun...and sepanjang jalan aku harap-harap jangan ada pacat yang menyinggah kat aku...
kami sempat buat pit stop kat air terjun...aku lupe nama dia tapi it was not far from kem balak along the way turun tu....org lain sume syiok je terjun...but aku kene tahan perasaan...sebab hubby aku tak bagi terjun...o man!!...but an order is an order...hehehe....
petang tu sampai kat kaki gunung.....dengan ibu jari kaki ku lebam kene kasut....look so darn ugly...but hey! Look at the bright side of it....nanti aku dapat kuku kaki baru...hehehe....hubby aku pun cakap aku kene pakai barang-barang or equipment yang heavy duty baru tahan lame...ganazzz....wargh wargh....
